Dr. Galen Wilson, DACM, MSTCM, C.SMA, L.Ac

Dr. Galen Wilson is a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist and holds both Doctorate and Masters degrees in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM).

Growing up the son of two acupuncturists, Dr. Galen Wilson had plenty of first hand experience with acupuncture and Chinese medicine throughout his life. However, it was not until his junior year studying entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles that he decided to switch paths and pursue a career in medicine.

After graduating from ACTCM in 2018, Dr. Galen Wilson obtained licensure from both the California Acupuncture Board and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Since establishing himself on the Central Coast, Dr. Wilson has completed both the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program and the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification (SMAC) program. Galen is passionate about helping people of all ages and athletic backgrounds getting out of pain and restoring maximal function to their bodies.

Dr. Galen Wilson has also extensively studied the use and application of Chinese herbal medicine, and utilizes nutraceuticals, Functional Blood Chemistry and Functional Nutrition to address a wide variety of internal pathologies. Their powerful effects on treating the internal environment of the body has been paramount to Dr. Wilson’s success in treating all manner of internal medical conditions in his practice.

In his free time, Dr. Wilson loves surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and eating.
