Dr. Galen Wilson

Growing up as the son of two acupuncturists, Dr. Galen Wilson experienced the transformative power of acupuncture and Chinese medicine firsthand from an early age.

While studying entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles Dr. Wilson decided to switch paths and pursue a career in medicine. This decision led him to earn both his Master's (MSTCM) and Doctorate (DACM) degrees from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in 2018.

Since establishing his practice on the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo in 2019, Dr. Wilson has dedicated himself to helping people of all ages and backgrounds achieve optimal wellness through traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Chinese herbal medicine, functional nutrition, and advanced sports medicine techniques.

As a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncturist, Dr. Galen Wilson is committed to helping patients overcome pain and restore peak function. His approach integrates sports acupuncture, trigger point and dry needling, myofascial release, orthopedic assessments, and movement rehabilitation. By addressing both local dysfunctions and underlying mechanical factors, his comprehensive approach helps patients recover more efficiently and move with greater confidence.

In addition to treating musculoskeletal conditions, Dr. Galen Wilson has completed extensive training in Chinese herbal medicine for the management of complex internal health concerns. His studies include advanced herbal strategies for autoimmune conditions, endocrine dysfunction, gastrointestinal disorders, Long-COVID, mental health, and chronic skin conditions, allowing him to create individualized formulas that support the body's natural healing processes.
